Comparative study of modern heuristic algorithms for global maximum power point tracking in photovoltaic systems under partial shading conditions

چکیده
Under partial shading conditions (PSCs), photovoltaic (PV) generation systems exhibit multiple local and a single global maximum power point. Consequently, point tracking (GMPPT) is required to improve the performance of PV in such scenarios. This paper comparatively studies evaluates modern heuristic-optimization-based GMPPT techniques. Monte Carlo method used statistically analyze different methods. Simulation experimental results indicate that many algorithms have difficulties balancing explorative exploitative searching behaviors. Therefore, we propose variable vortex search (VVS), which capable improving by using step size deterministic starting points. will aid researchers practical engineers gain thorough understanding on how use heuristic for out systems. Furthermore, it offers comprehensive guidance perform efficiently under PSCs.
